Girl Child Initiative

Where We Make a Difference

The Girl Child Initiative addresses barriers that keep girls out of school: period poverty, gender-based violence, and lack of mentorship. It combines empowerment, education, and health to keep girls learning and thriving.

We are committed to creating a supportive environment where women and young girls can thrive with dignity, confidence, and opportunity. Our programs focus on:

  • Distribution of dignity kits & sanitary support
  • Menstrual hygiene management education
  • GBV sensitization & safety awareness
  • Female mentorship & peer-support clubs
  • Introductory digital & leadership skills

This program is cross-cutting: it addresses education, health, gender equality, and leadership development making it central to our mission.
